Keto Sausage Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers
These keto-friendly sausage stuffed jalapeno poppers are perfect for a low-carb appetizer or snack. They're loaded with creamy cheese, spicy jalapenos, and savory sausage, making them a deliciously satisfying treat.
Ingredients:
- 8 large jalapeno peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked crumbled sausage
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bacon slices, cut in half optional
Instructions:
Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C
Separate the jalapeo peppers along their length, then take out the seeds and membranes
Melt the cheddar cheese and add the cooked sausage
Then add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed
The sausage and cheese mix should be put inside each half of the jalapeo
If you want, you can wrap each stuffed jalapeno in a half slice of bacon
Put the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it
Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the peppers are soft and the filling is bubbly and golden brown
